Topsites and pagerank

I see that chris has a topsite list at wilderness-survival.net . And I was intersted in opening one at my own site. Will this anyway help me get a better pagerank for my site ? :rolleyes:

Not directly, but indirectly. The topsites page will be linked to often and the page will get lots of incoming links (if it's popular) and so you'll get some PR. You can then link to one of your other sites and give that site a PR boost. If you directly link to alot of sites from your Topsites you won't get alot of PR. I'm not referring to the Topsites links themsevles since they don't link directly (they use a jump script).

Running a topsites also allows you to put advertising on it.

Does anyone know a script that tracks people in the list that send traffic to your domain instead of to a tracking script (so it passes on pr)?
