I have a linking strategy where they all link back to the main hub site and all link to 3 of the sites. Each site do have some links to the other sites in the network.
I am talking about frynetwork.com, and all the sites in the network.
I would like to get frynetwork.com to at least a PR 6 by the next update. Any Ideal how I can spead this process up? Right now it has 96 backlinks...

The PR of the site's homepages doesn't say much. A true test of how much PR a site can contribute like this is to look at the PR of a privacy policy (or other such page linked to from every page on the site but with no external incoming links).

If you want to get PR up buy links to your sites on high-pr-high-traffic webmaster sites.

ok,
http://www.frynetwork.com/news.php has a PR of 4, with 3 backlinks... Does that mean the true PR is 4?

Not 'True PR' but 'PR Power' is 4.

Why do you always want to buy PR when a PR6 can be achieved normally without any investment in links?
he loves to waste money lol!

I never tried to buy a PR before so I cant really say its a waste of money. But just interested why Incka chose the option of buying a PR.

It works in that you get PR, but it doesn't automatically make any difference in rankings.

But you can do more powerful link exchanges.
Aha, a cunning plan, buy some big PR links for a month or two, get loads of link exchanges while the backlinks are providing nice PR, then assume the link partners wont notice when you lose the links you were renting...

Aha, that's why I don't link exchange based on PR alone, but also take into account the looks of the site, Alexa rank and traffic stats. However it is still a problem.
