Hi folks
I hear that only back links with PR4 and above are useful ... is that true?
If yes, then if I give away a PR5 link while getting a PR1-3 link in return? Wouldn't it be counter productive? :(

All links are useful.
Only links from a PR 4 or above show up in a backwards link search.
As far as a link exchange, yes, if you're giving more PR than you are recieving then you're getting the short end of the deal. But how much PR you receive isn't entirely dependent on the PR of the page, but also how many links are on it.

What is the average time for them to appear in a SE?
2 weeks - 1 month ?

One update cycle, so about 4 weeks.
It used to be a lot longer than that didn't it?

It could be as long as 7 weeks if you're really unlucky... but thats odd.

I don't see why it wouldn't automatically update once the site that is linking you gets crawled....
How come my google results show different for the http:// and the http://www results...
Also... Does google index...
www.yoursite.com/teeth
and
www.yoursite.com/teeth/index.html
would those be 2 seperate pages?

They can be... but Google is also sometimes smart enough to realize they are the same. It is based on content.
Personally I never link to "index.html" link that, always to just the domain or the directory, to achieve uniformity.
