Should I register a blog?

I think one thing is should I "register" my blog with the powers that are (google, yahoo, bing, and so on). I never thought to ever do that. However, I have never heard that I should.... with a blog that is.

So you don't have to worry about being in the 3 major search sites.

You can use site:homelessrobshome.blogspot.com in the search box of each to check on your further progress.

It will be reasonable to create sitemap of your site - it will be easier for Google spiders to find your blog.
