Should I do this?

Hi there,

TemplateMonster have told me if I place a link to them named 'website templates' on every page, they will increase my commisions by 5%, as well as putting my site on the resources page.

Now I know outgoing links are bad for search engines, so should I take this?

How much traffic do you currently get from Google?

Is that 5% increase in revenue going to be worth more than any potential traffic you might lose?

I don't get that much, but I have to say that I have seen an increase in sales since getting listed.

I have put a link to them on my homepage in return for them listing my site in their resources section. Do you think I should take that down?

If its just on your homepage I'd say yes.

What do you mean? If its a redirect then yes, it can matter. If its just from a PHP page then no.

I'm not really sure, as they seem to have disguised it...
