short or long pages for CPM?

Hi,

I'm writing reams and reams of what I consider to be good copy!

Would I be better off breaking it up into small 'appetisers/snippits' to draw readers into viewing more and more pages?

This seems a silly question, but I see so many websites (with advertising) that scroll down for thousands upon thousands of words.

I'm just wondering whether I'm missing a key point here!

Shorter pages, for two reasons.

1. Studies show, users hate long scroll

2. More pages is more chances for a good search engine ranking, give each page a unique title.
