AWS is slow for me...

...it's not my server, as the static pages with no code from amazon are working fine.

Is there anything in a script that could cause this?

I think it is actually a problem at Amazon's end. I've looked at a few AWS sites, and it seems items that are hard to find (so haven't been cached) are loading slow.

There is also something on it on the official aws board.

Are you using SOAP with AWS?
