Hi,
I am working with a friend on a presentation about online advertising that he is going to give to a club at his school. During my research I was able to find lots of information on the different types of online advertising but I was unable to find any hard data about how much money could be made with online ads.
Specifically I am looking for estimates/date that shows the amount money a website would make compared to the number of visitors it gets (such as a website that generates 5,000 hits a day could make 120 dollars a year with click type ads).
Since I know that websites with similar amounts of traffic will often generate completely different sums of money I am also looking for hard data that I can analyze. (Such as a website’s URL, how many hits it gets, what types of advertising it uses, and how much money it makes).
All help is appreciated, thanks.
